Training Philosophy
Practical training & Simplifying IT
Before the training starts we hold career orientation for our students. Our students have a variety of intentions from skilling, re-skilling, up-skilling and cross-skilling in all cases we offer guidance based on their background and interests.
- At the start of each training our instructors begin by explaining the big picture and how this course fits on the profession or in the industry as a whole. With this, we try to make headway for our students so they know where they are going and what to expect.
- Different from other online recorded training that much happens behind the scene prior to the start of course, in our training the instructor builds everything with the students from scratch so everyone understands how pieces fit together.
- Our courses are 100% practical courses because technology is learnt by watching, doing and simplifying all steps required to gain the knowledge and skills for today’s dynamic tech economy.
- Due to having small student groups the instructor engages each student during training as well as live screen sharing to evaluate student’s progress and discuss pitfalls and solutions.
- All concepts are explained through exercises so as to build skills step by step while during training more complex projects are built in order to put the smaller skills and tools together. In session exercises are followed with homework exercises and small projects so everyone can also produce code individually.
- We use cloud platforms to share classwork, homework, demonstrations, projects, and other didactical materials. In this way, students learn from a variety of sources, much needed to prepare well.
- Repetition is key to success, our instructors relentlessly repeat concepts through different exercises and explain through different angles in order for the information to be fully understood; this is a huge difference between recorded videos and online live instructor led training, where the playback of videos will replay the same explanation.
- Students help each other during the training process as well as outside the training sessions as this benefits both students.
- Searching information online is an important skill for any professional as after all one can only remember so much. But, we build your reason so you can continue the growth on your own.
- Finally, of utmost importance is ‘group learning’. Learning in a group is much better than learning alone. Humans are made to stay and communicate with each other and alone. It is more fun to ride along your career with like minded people than reduce yourself to a lonely corner. Networking is an important step to career advancement.
